I’m thrilled to be writing the first post for the new Muzzy Lane blog, which is part of our new revamped website. There is a lot of interesting work going on here these days, and we felt, frankly, that we were not doing a good enough job of sharing. This website (and blog) are part of our strategy to do better.

We’ll have room here to say more about our projects, including our own games and those we’re developing with partners. Where we can, we’ll add links to let you get in and play some of the games and prototypes – all of our games play in the browser, after all.

As I write this, we’re working on game designs in middle-school science and history, language-learning, business, smoking-cessation and more. This means there are lots of interesting conversations going on here each day, and you can keep up with that on Twitter (

In this blog, different members of our team will write in more depth about individual subject areas and projects, interesting ideas we’re working with, and things we see that we feel are worth sharing.

We’re also moving this month – to a cool new space in the historic Towle Building. The space will give us extra room we need, and also gives us a roofdeck overlooking the mighty Merrimack River. We look forward to having visitors!

(And you can probably look forward to be a blog post dedicated to images of ice floating down the river... )
